Hi,

I am representative of the district 3 (Village of Alfred) for the Municipal Council of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet.  I was elected at the time of the municipal elections in November 2003.

I am native of Lefaivre, Ontario.  I am the father of three teenagers.  My daughters and all the children of my community are my first cause of devotion.  It is for the children that I am an active member of the Alfred's Optimist Club.  I was, at turn of roles, chairman, secretary and treasurer of this club since the beginning of the nineties up until now. 

I also belonged to the St- Victor's Parish Board of Directors and the Alfred's Recreation Committee.  I took part in the setting-up of several community activities such as: Festivals of Canada,  bicycles ralley at the St-Victor's school and the "guignolée" during the holiday season.

I am General Manager of the Cooperative Hydro Embrun Inc.  since February 2001.  From 1991 to 2001, I occupied the position of Manager at Hydro 2000 Inc and former Hydro-Electric Commission of Alfred. From 1984 to 1991, I was owner of a clothing shop with my wife, Suzanne Lafrance.
