Monday, April 30 to Friday, May 4, 2012 The maximum amount of garbage shall not exceed the size of a box of a pick-up truck (6' x 8'), and 5 feet in height.You may dispose of the following articles: refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, air conditioners, furnaces, bedsprings, mattresses, barrels, water tanks, etc. Refrigerators and freezers must have the doors removed before disposal.NOTE: Items that contain CFCs (e.g. freezers, air conditioners, refrigerators, thermo-pumps), must be emptied by a qualified technician who shall affix a notice on the appliance. This notice must indicate the date, the name of the technician, his/her certificate number and a declaration that the equipment does not contain any refrigerant.WE WILL NOT PICK UP: building materials, animal carcasses, earth or stones, hazardous, manufacturing and liquid waste, vehicle bodies, parts or tires, organic yard waste (bush, trees, grass, leaves, stumps), blue box recyclable materials.REMINDER -- You can bring your domestic waste to the landfill sites, at no charge, from Tuesday May 22 to Saturday May 26, 2011 and from Monday September 24 to Saturday September 29, 2012. |
