GARAGE SALE - NEW BY-LAW

Dear resident,

Please be advised that a new by-law was adopted at the end of summer 2010 and will be enforced in 2011. This by-law is By-Law No, 2010-95 concerning garage sale.

Garage sales are permitted within the Township on the following conditions:

a) Garage sales shall not be held or encroach on a sidewalk, a public highway (street) or on any other public space;

b) Garage sales are permitted during three occurrences throughout a year:

- During the month of May: on the Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of the Victoria Day week end;

- During the month of August: on the Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of the Civic Holiday week end;

- During the month of September: on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the Labor Day week end;

c) Garage sales which are organized and held by a community group, a service club or a non for profit organization are permitted at any time during the year;
