| Natural gas service is coming to Alfred, Plantagenet and Wendover!Further to the surveys we conducted in your communities over the past few years, Enbridge Gas Distribution is delighted to announce that natural gas service will very soon be available to most homes and businesses in your area. We wish to extend our gratitude to the residents, local merchants, council and municipal staff for their valuable input throughout this process. This significant expansion of our natural gas network is currently being planned and work will begin as soon as all necessary approvals from municipal and provincial authorities are received. We anticipate that construction will begin by mid July of this year and be undertaken in 2 separate phases with full completion by the fall of 2009. Enbridge will soon be hosting a series of public information meetings in your communities providing details on the proposed pipeline route, the timing of installation, the benefits of using natural gas and how to potentially obtain natural gas service to your property as early as this year.
