The Township of Alfred and Plantagenet has several facilities available to rent for meetings, receptions and more. Fees are for the day/evening.

Curran

Municipal Hall (Forum)

819 Cartier St. Curran

The Curran Municipal Hall, located at 819 Cartier Street, can accommodate up to 205 guests. The room has air conditioning, a sound system and a microphone. A bar is available upon request. The room includes a kitchen with a refrigerator, a microwave and a stove. Finally, 27 rectangular tables and 180 chairs are on the premises. The installation of the tables and chairs can be done by the municipality's personnel, according to the applicant's specifications.

2005 Parc Rd Lefaivre

The Lefaivre Community Centre, located on 2005 Park Street, can accommodate up to 223 guests. The hall has air conditioning and a covered terrace for those nice summer days.  A bar is available upon request. The room includes a kitchen with a refrigerator, a microwave and a stove. Finally, 29 rectangular tables and 109 chairs are on the premises. The installation of the tables and chairs can be done by the municipality's personnel, according to the applicant's specifications.

Plantagenet Serge R. Lalonde Community Hall

The Plantagenet Community Hall, located at 220 Main Street, can accommodate up to 300 guests. The hall has air conditioning which is ideal for events in the middle of summer. Its 16' x 16' stage, high quality sound system, projector and onsite microphones make it possible for a wide range of activities.  A bar is also available upon request. The room includes a kitchen with a refrigerator, a microwave and a stove. Finally, 27 round tables, 32 rectangular tables and 300 chairs are on the premises. The installation of tables and chairs can be done by the municipality's personnel, according to the applicant's specifications.

Treadwell Community Hall

The Treadwell Community Hall, located at 130 County Road 9, can accommodate up to 90 guests. The room has air conditioning which is ideal for events in the height of summer.  A bar is also available upon request. The room includes a kitchen with a refrigerator, a microwave and a stove. Finally, 17 rectangular tables and 109 chairs are on the premises. The installation of tables and chairs can be done by the municipal staff, according to the applicant's specifications.

Lucien Delorme Community Centre

5000 Centre Road Wendover

The Lucien Delorme Community Hall, located at 5000 Community Centre Street, can accommodate up to 314 guests. The hall is air-conditioned and is ideal for events in the middle of summer. Its 25' x 16' stage, high quality sound system and onsite microphones make it possible for a wide range of activities.  A bar is also available upon request. The room includes a kitchen with a refrigerator, a microwave and a stove. Finally, 30 circular tables, 45 rectangular tables and 328 chairs are on the premises. The installation of tables and chairs can be done by the municipal staff, according to the applicant's specifications.

Additional information
  • A $150 deposit will be required, in addition to the applicable rental fees, to cover any damages and cleaning required to return the hall to the same state as before the rental;
  • A charge of $50 is required for use of audiovisual equipment (projector and screen) at the Plantagenet and Wendover Community Centre;
  • HST is included in the fees;
  • Fees for funerals are of $160 per day/evening (no deposit required);
  • Sports equipment and facilities are also available for rental.
