Fire Prevention at the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet

The Township of Alfred and Plantagenet Fire Department provides fire-rescue services to its residents from stations located in the villages of Alfred, Plantagenet, Lefaivre and Wendover. These fire services are further supported by mutual aid agreements with adjacent municipalities. The Fire Department also provides assistance to the land ambulance service of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell.

The Township's Fire Department is staffed by an average of 60 volunteer fire fighters. The Township also employs a Fire Chief to oversee the management of the four fire stations. For more information about fire services, or to inquire about becoming a volunteer fire fighter, please contact the Fire Chief at (613) 673-4797 ext. 223.

Fire Prevention Officer

The Township utilizes a fire prevention officer to oversee the Fire Department's fire prevention program and provide information to the public about fire safety and prevention. For more information on the fire prevention program or having the fire prevention officer attend an event for educational purposes, please contact Town Hall or the Fire Chief.
