The Free Tree Giveaway registration is currently closed.

Registration

On May 8, 2021, the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet is organizing a Free Tree Giveaway in collaboration with South Nation Conservation and the environmental committee.

Please register online in order to select a time slot for pick-up. Ensure to provide us with the following information:

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Civic address

  • Phone number

  • Tree selection

You may only take up to 20 seedlings as well as one apple tree (approximately 4 to 6 feet tall). Consult the full list of available trees for distribution.

Quantities are limited, submit your choices soon!

Note: If your chosen trees become unavailable due to demand, you will be given White Cedar plug seedlings by default.

 Guidelines to follow on pick-up day

  • Upon arrival at the town hall in Plantagenet, follow the arrows in order to speak with one of our volunteers at the sign-in table.

  • Remain in your vehicles once in the waiting line

  • Once you’ve received your trees, it is strongly recommended to plant them within 24 hours.

  • Face masks are mandatory during the event
