Property Taxes Billing and Payment

 

Property Assessment

Your property assessment is determined by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC). For any questions pertaining to your property assesment, you may contact MPAC directly:

Tax Rates

You may consult the current year's tax rates by navigating to the Finance page under the Tax Rates tab.

 

Billing

Property taxes billing is divided in two (2) parts:

Initial Billing

Payment Due

Interim billing

March 31

Note: The interim billing represents 50% of the property taxes billed during the previous year.

 

Second Billing — Final Bill

Payment Due

Residential

50% of the final bill

June 30

Commercial/Industrial/Multiresidential

50% of the final bill

August 31

Remainder

September 30

Note: The final billing represents your property taxes due for the current year based on the tax rates adopted by the Council, less interim billing. 

 

Payment Methods

There are two (2) ways to pay your property taxes.

 

1)    Payment by due dates at the following locations:

- After opening hours, in the mailbox.

2)    Pre-authorized monthly (10 months) payments:

Water and Sewer Billing and Payment

 

Tax Rates

You may consult the current year's tax rates by navigating to the Finance page under the Tax Rates tab.

 

Billing

Billing for water and sewer service is done four (4) times a year and payments are due by the following dates:

Payment Due

First bill

April 30

Second bill

July 31

Third bill

October 31

Fourth bill

January 31 of the following year
