The Township of Alfred and Plantagenet is proud to announce its Partnership Plans, developed through public consultation with ideas and feedback from the community and its organizations:

The first plan to be unveiled to the businesses and community members is the Denis St-Pierre Park Partnership Plan.

Our Approach

In summer of 2022, the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet undertook a public consultation process which was intended to propose ideas collected from members of the community to the various community organisations involved in their respective parks. These organisations then chose ideas that would enable their village's park to stand out from the rest. Bestowing unique features on our municipal parks has always been a challenge and goal of ours, in order to set them apart from one another. You can view the archives of the public consultation on www.letstalkap.com.

Our Vision

In the pursuit of the goals set out in our 2021-2023 Strategic Plan and the 2020 Parks and Recreation Master Plan, The Township of Alfred and Plantagenet is putting forth these Partnership Plans to further develop and more quickly enhance our green spaces and outdoor recreation facilities and to set ourselves apart as a municipality in Prescott and Russell. Through partnership with citizens and businesses alike, we hope to invest more heavily in our municipal parks for the benefit of our citizens as well as visitors to our beautiful region.
