The Township of Alfred and Plantagenet is located within the United Counties of Prescott and Russell, in Eastern Ontario. It is made up of seven bilingual villages including Alfred, Curran, Lefaivre, Pendleton, Plantagenet, Treadwell and Wendover.

Alfred is located 55 minutes away from downtown Ottawa and 90 minutes from Montreal. Alfred is the soul of the economy in the Township mostly because of its ideal location right on Highway 17. For those who seek a more rural setting, Alfred is a great place to live and raise a family. Curran and Pendleton

Curran and Pendleton are located 50 minutes away from downtown Ottawa and home to many commuters. These small towns are filled with community spirit that can be felt during their famous annual Market in August and September. For those who seek a more rural setting, Curran and Pendleton are great places to live and raise a family. Surrounded by many agricultural fields, residents of Curran and Pendleton embrace nature while still having great activities nearby such as the Nation Golf Club and the Gatineau Gliding Club Airport.

Lefaivre and Treadwell

Lefaivre and Treadwell are located 50 minutes and 1 hour away from downtown Ottawa. The Lefaivre Ferry allows residents to travel easily to Plaisance, Montebello, Gatineau and Mirabel on the other side of the Ottawa river. For those who seek a more rural setting while enjoying the river, Treadwell and Lefaivre are great places to live and raise a family. Residents of Treadwell and Lefaivre enjoy their Marina and boat launch which are very popular in the summer and allows easy access to aquatic sports.

Plantagenet 

Plantagenet is located 50 minutes away from downtown Ottawa. This small town has many industrial businesses established. For those who seek nature, Plantagenet is a great place to raise a family right on banks of the South Nation River

Wendover is located 40 minutes away from downtown Ottawa and home of many commuters. Every year, this small town is really proud to welcomes thousands of visitors for the 4-day long Western Festival.
