A Name for the Township’s First Dog Park

The Township of Alfred and Plantagenet is proud to announce that the new dog park is now open for use by residents. We need you to help us find a name for this awesome new facility. With new amenities being installed, we are planning an official opening this coming spring. Until then, visit the area with your dog and feel free to give us ideas to improve the site.

Residents can send in their idea for a new name by email before February 26. Feel free to add in detail why we should choose that name. The Dog park committee will select three to five answers and a survey will be done on our Facebook page and website.

Location

The dog park is located right beside the water tower in Wendover on Highway 17. Users can use the park and ride area with their cars or access directly by the Denis St-Pierre park.
