NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF A BY-LAW TO CLOSE A ROAD PURSUANT TO SECTION 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL ACT, 2001


Please be advised that, pursuant to Section 34 of the Municipal Act, 2001, the Municipal Council of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet intends to pass a by-law to close and transfer a section of an unopened road allowance in Wendover. The adoption of this by-law is scheduled for November 18, 2025, during the special Council meeting to be held at 4:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, located at 205 Old Highway 17, in Plantagenet.
The section in question is the road allowance between Concession 1 and Broken Front Concession, located in Lots 33 and 34 of the former Township of North Plantagenet, now part of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet. According to the Ontario Land Registry, the parcel in question is listed under two property identification numbers: PIN 54100-0221 and PIN 54100-0245.
