PRESCOTT AND RUSSELL – The Ontario government is extending funding of up to $14 million over two years for communities providing transportation services in unserved and underserved regions across Ontario through the Community Transportation Grant Program.

TORONTO — With key public health and health care indicators continuing to improve, the provincewide vaccination rate now surpassing the targets outlined in the province’s Roadmap to Reopen, and on the recommendation of the the Chief Medical Officer of Health, the Ontario government is moving the province into Step Two of its Roadmap to Reopen at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

As a reminder to the citizens of Plantagenet, Jessup's Falls Rd, Parent St and Pitch-Off St will be undergoing extensive road work over the next few weeks. Asphalt pulverization began today and the project is expected to continue for approximately four weeks on Jessup's Falls Street (685 metres) and Parent Street (165 metres). The Pitch Off Road rehabilitation work will be more extensive due to extensive storm sewer work required and will take several weeks to complete. An update will follow once...
