SNC advises that the Flood Outlook Statement issued on March 10th has been upgraded to a Flood Watch.

Weather Forecast: Environment Canada is forecasting warmer temperatures beginning Friday afternoon with a high of 7°C, followed by a daytime high of 16°C over the weekend in addition to 10-15 mm of rain forecasted on Sunday afternoon into Monday.  

Environmental Conditions: Rainfall and snow melt will lead to increased water levels and flows in local streams and rivers.

SNC advises that warmer temperatures and forecasted rain will mark the beginning of the spring freshet.

Weather Forecast: Environment Canada is forecasting warmer temperatures and rain today and tomorrow. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach up to 10oC. Rainfall amounts over the next two days are expected to be between 10 mm and 25 mm.
