Plans, Reports and Studies

At the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet we plan for the future to ensure we have the services and infrastructure, our residents need. We plan for services, transportation networks, housing options and more, while maintaining our built heritage and natural environment. Review our studies and reports to discover how we are planning for the future.

Asset Management Plan

An asset management plan was developed by Public Sector Digest on behalf of the Township in 2013 and updated in 2016. As part of the Ontario Regulation 588/17, the asset management plan was updated in the year 2020, and once again in 2024. It will serve as a strategic document, ensuring the proper and efficient management of the core municipal infrastructure.

The five core asset categories analyzed in the plan are:

  • Sanitary Network
  • Storm Network
  • Road Network
  • Water Network
  • Bridges and culverts
