Lifesaving and Lifeguarding Courses

Registrants can submit their applications by email any time before the start of the course, so long as spots are available. Information for payment will be transmitted.

• Bronze Star: No prerequisites. Visit the Lifesaving Society website for more details.
• Bronze Medallion: Minimum 13 years of age prior to exam date or certification. Visit the Lifesaving Society website for details.
• Bronze Cross: Bronze Medallion and Standard First Aid or Emergency First Aid certification. Visit the Lifesaving Society website for more details.

The exact length of the class may vary based on class and instructor needs. The instructor will communicate the precise schedule with registered persons.

• Bronze Star: 100$
• Bronze Medallion: 150$
• Bronze Cross: 160$
• Bronze Medallion AND Bronze Cross: 285$

Optional

• Course book: 50$

Note: Fees are not refundable if a participant needs to leave early from the lessons, unless the Township cancels the lessons or that participant has a health issue (a medical certificate will be required).
