Discovery Night : A Meeting with the Wendover Burundian Community

The Township of Alfred and Plantagenet in partnership with the Burundian community of Wendover invites you to come discover and celebrate Burundian culture, February 7th, at a very special evening at the Wendover Lucien-Delorme Community Centre.

 

The event will feature traditional cuisine, dance performances, percussionist presentations, a DJ and educational displays highlighting the richness of Burundian culture.
 

The evening is free; the cost for a meal (ages 12 and up) is $15 plus tax. Children 11 and under eat for free.
 

5:00 PM: Doors open
6:00 PM: Tabourinaires show
6:45 PM: Presentations and dance show
7:30 PM: Dinner
8:00 p.m.: Dance show
10:00 p.m. : End of the event.
