The township's 2026 March Break Sign highlighting activities offered

The Township of Alfred and Plantagenet is offering two activities for March break!

A free magic show and an escape room game for teens, both at the Plantagenet Serge R. Lalonde Community Hall on Tuesday, March 17, during Ontario’s March break. 

Magic show

  • Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 11 a.m.
  • Serge R. Lalonde Community Hall (220 Main Street) 
  • Open to all
  • No registration required
  • 45-minute show with magician Ian Quick
  • Doors open at 10 a.m. show starts at 11 a.m. 

Escape games

  • Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Ages 9 and up*
  • Serge R. Lalonde Community Hall in Plantagenet (220 Main Street)
  • Registration required (online)—$10/participant
  • Limited space available!
  • Three groups will attempt to solve an escape game simultaneously.
