The Government of Canada is currently undertaking studies as part of the proposed ALTO high-speed rail project.
This is not a municipal project. The Township of Alfred and Plantagenet is sharing this information because portions of the municipality fall within the study corridor currently being evaluated and could be affected by the project.
Residents are encouraged to consult the official ALTO project website for information on the proposed route, project updates, potential impacts, and upcoming public consultation opportunities.
