The unveiling included remarks from Mayor Laviolette, followed by a photo with Councillor Antoni Viau and the participants in attendance. Councillor Jean-Pierre Cadieux was also present at the event.

Created through the Active Seniors Program, this artwork was developed with about twenty Township residents aged 50 and over, under the guidance of artist Emily Rose Michaud.
Titled “Rooted in the Current,” the piece is inspired by the village’s natural landscape and symbolizes both the community’s evolution and intergenerational connections.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this beautiful creation!
