Congratulations to Mrs. Hélène Bercier, recipient of the 2026 Senior of the Year Award.

Through the provincial government, the Township has the privilege of presenting the Senior of the Year Award once a year to recognize the exceptional commitment of an individual who contributes to the growth and well-being of our community. This year, we are proud to honour Mrs. Hélène Bercier.

 

President of the Club Entre Amis de Lefaivre for nearly four years, Hélène has distinguished herself through her leadership, generosity, and ability to bring people together. Over the years, she has also been our eyes on the ground, regularly and respectfully communicating with the Township to share the community’s needs and identify improvements to our facilities and services.

 

She is actively involved in her Treadwell community, including through the Saint-Léon-le-Grand Parish and the choir committee of the Saint-Thomas Parish in Lefaivre.

 

Through her energy, kindness, and dedication, she perfectly embodies the values of solidarity and mutual support that strengthen our community.
